HISTORY
This home is located in a very interesting portion of the small town of Robeline, La.
Once known as "no mans' land", this area was not under U.S. nor Mexican
jurisdictions, meaning that if someone were to be evading the law, this area was
the place to go, for no law enforcement could follow them. This being so, this area
was often home to criminals and the filth of the land. Travelers passing through
these areas were often robbed, or even murdered. Next to the home was the site
where a well once stood, which was supposidly the site where numerous bodies
were dumped by a local band of criminals.
The home that now stands on these grounds is currently a rent home that is not
inhabited. Reports from the current homeowner show that approximately 2 years
ago, a young male was stabbed to death in the driveway.
ACTIVITY
According to the homeowner, strange noises, shadows being seen, and objects
moving are the most commonly reported types of activity. The homeowner
strongly feels that the activity is mainly due to her grandfather, who lived there
previously. It was noted that the grandfather was a strong believer in the
paranormal and even had the ability of telekenisis. Most of the activity in the home
was reported in the main bedroom, which was where the grandfather slept.
INVESTIGATION
We arrived at the home early in the evening. Being use to hauling in tons of
equipment and setting it all up on multiple floors, it was a breath of fresh air to
only bring in one DVR setup and have everything running in 15 minutes! The night
went pretty smooth, with no immediate activity being experienced. We departed
the home around 1:00 am, with the disappointment that we had not recovered any
evidence. Video and photographs obtained produced no evidence. However, we
did recover one interested piece of audio which was obtained in the main
bedroom. Only Raymond and I were present at the time the audio was taken. We
are unsure as to what it is saying, so I will post it as a "you be the judge". I have
attached the origional version and a version that is slowed down a bit. Thinking
the night was unproductive, we were surprised when we found this clip. We
would definitely like to make a return trip, in an attempt to obtain more evidence.
