THE HISTORY
Unfortunately, not much history was recovered on the beautiful Southern Colonial
Bed & Breakfast, located in historic Winnfield, La. The homeowner reported
several unexplainable events which took place, such as strange noises and, most
commonly, items being removed from guests' rooms. Could we be dealing with a
stinky fingered ghost?
INVESTIGATION
A small group of only four investigators attended with the hopes of finding proof of
a haunting, or at the bare minimum, at least some unexplainable event. The usual
4-camera DVR was ran through the home, along with voice recorders and EMF
meters. Unfortunately, the night was uneventful for our members, as no
substantial evidence was recovered. However, during a prior preliminary
walk-through, a sensitive member of the group did pick up on the presence of an
elderly female, yet we were unable to obtain concrete proof of her "presence".
The question still remains: Is the Southern Colonial B&B haunted? If we strictly
determine the answer to that question based solely on our findings, or lack
thereof, the answer is no. However, we all know no location is active on every
night of the week. It is this reason we always try and conduct a follow up
investigation, and with the help of the gracious homeowner, hopefully we can
accomplish this one day.
